This apple is also known as Golden Delicious. As its name it is greenish yellow-golden appearance and it is one of the most popular apples for fresh eating, salads and cooking because of its sweet, juicy crisp flesh. It is a self-fertile but requires a pollinator with the same bloom time such as Fuji, Gala or Red Delicious for better crop. Plant it in full sun and where air can circulate around and through the branches of the tree. It helps in pollination of other apple varieties due to its longer blooming period. It grows up to 12-15ft tall and wide at its maturity.
