Commonly known as Eastern Redbud. Eastern Redbud is known for its showy flowers, multi trunk tree with rounded crown and horizontally tiered branches. Pea-like pink flowers bloom in clusters and cover the bare branches in the spring before the foliage emerges. Bright green with the hint of read, the heart-shaped leaves mature to dark green in summer and turn pale yellow to greenish yellow in fall. Eastern redbud reaches a mature size of 20-30ft tall and 25-35ft wide.
