Magnolia Jane is a hybrid that crossed between Magnolia ‘Reflorescence’ and M. ‘Waterlily’ and it belongs to Little Girl Series of magnolias. It grows in a compact fashion and matures to 10-20ft tall and 5-10ft wide. The bloom starts late in spring when there are less chances of late frosts. It produces vibrant purplish pink large flowers for longer season of color. It prefers full sun to partial shade and well-draining soil. They can tolerate a wide range of soil types but prefer slightly acidic soil.
