It is also known as Golden Vicary Privet. It is an evergreen small-medium shrub that grows up to 6-8ft tall and 4-6ft wide. Newly grown leaves are golden yellow and with the age they turn dark green variegated with golden yellow edges. It produces white, highly fragrant cluster of flowers in spring that turns into dark blue berries. For best foliage color plant it in full-sun and it prefers well drained soil. It can be used as border plant, privacy, hedge or stand alone as an accent plant.
