Salavatski Pomegranate is a cold hardy that can withstand extremely cold temperatures and very disease resistant. It blooms orange flowers in abundance in late spring. Flowers are followed by very large fruits. The fruits have orange red skin, hard red seeds and red arils. Salavatski Pomegranates are sweet-tart, juicy hard seeds that can be eaten fresh, in salads or to make juice. It is self-fertile and having another same kind next to it will produce heavier crop. Fruits will be ready to harvest in fall. Plant it in full sun and well-drained soil. It matures to 10-12ft tall.
