It is also called Japanese Steeds Holly, it has glossy green evergreen foliage that turns darker green with age. It grows in beautiful pyramidal and upright fashion. It produce white flowers and then red berries (on females) that turns bluish black in winters. It thrives in full sun but adaptive to partial shade. Very attractive to birds. It matures to 6-8ft tall and 5-6ft wide but it can be pruned to desired height and width.
